The organic design of Cleo is inspired by the ripples of water droplets, specifically drawing from the Latin word “unda,” which means “wave” or “billow”. Our goal was to make the user feel peace and relaxation, and the use of curved lines helps make technology products feel more approachable and less stressful. You can see this in the smooth rounded edges of the unit as well as the fluid form of the top housing, which offers the most ergonomic shape for plugging and unplugging the device. Cleo’s compact design also makes it highly versatile in the household; you can put it almost anywhere.

Power in Precision (Build)

Equipped with Wi-Fi 7, Cleo delivers faster speeds than previous generation Wi-Fi 6E routers. It features two 2.4GHz antennas, two 5GHz antennas, and two 6GHz antennas in a tri band configuration that offers a wide range of channels, high bandwidth, and greater versatility to optimize your Wi-Fi.

Packing all six antennas into such a small footprint is a challenge, as close placement increases coupling between radios and causes desensitization, which is interference that makes it harder to receive signals (like trying to talk over people in a noisy room). To overcome this, we patented an innovative decoupler design that increases isolation between antennae, delivering clear, strong signals on all bands while maintaining Cleo’s compact size.

Cleo also leads the industry in cooling as the first known compact Wi-Fi router to use aerogel insulation, which keeps the unit cooler to the touch, while a quiet, efficient fan ensures consistent performance and maximizes lifespan.

We designed Cleo to match or surpass the functionality of competing routers while being significantly smaller and more affordable. Most comparable models are larger, bulkier, require power cables, and must sit on a surface like a table or bookshelf.

Cleo is different. It plugs directly into a wall outlet, allowing placement in prime locations for optimal connection and range such as a hallway or open wall without being tied to furniture. This design provides greater freedom to customize a home Wi-Fi system with maximum flexibility. Designed with the user in mind, Cleo occupies only one spot on a standard duplex outlet, leaving the other free.
